Fall Home Checklist
Different seasons...different chores! As summer draws to an end, preparations have to be made to ensure that your home and yard are ready for the colder fall weather including putting away outdoor furniture, window coverings, plants, gardening gear, etc as well as pulling out items that you'll need for the fall. Taking the extra time to label your storage boxes and creating organized shelf space for your items will save you time and aggravation in the future. Other chores include:
- inspecting the roof
- cleaning the chimney and fireplace
- unclogging your gutters
- inspecting your foundation
- checking the heating system and insulating
- shutting off your outside water taps
- winterizing your windows
- tidying the garage
- cleaning and preparing the garden and yard
